Art Demonstrations
I'm usually very happy to give practical art demonstrations to Art Groups or in Galleries anywhere in Ireland. It's nice for less experienced artists to watch a professional artist plan and execute their work, especially those who might not paint too often, or are at an early stage in their expertise.
I demonstrate landscapes, still life or portrait paintings - it usually takes about two hours.
I sometimes outline my unique Six Step Approach to painting and I like to give lots of tips about composition, doing preparatory thumbnail black/white sketches, colour planning, drawing accurately and lots more.
My hope is that my demonstrations will encourage people to see that, with a proper approach, good painting is possible by almost everyone.
